Vehicle Description
Triumph TR6 - 1973 - Rare Sapphire Blue / Brown Interior Combination
Originally delivered new to the United States in May 1973, this TR6 is equipped with the renowned 2.5-liter inline-six engine, here enhanced with a set of three Weber 40 carburetors (installation valued at €3,000), known for their reliability and delivering a truly fabulous sound.
The engine shows strong compression across all cylinders. In addition to a recent specialist service (including replacement of the master cylinder, water pump, and more), our TR6 received a brand-new clutch assembly in 2024. It is also worth noting that the cylinder head was rebuilt in 2016 with larger exhaust valves.
The bodywork is solid. The period paintwork, while showing some stone chips and touch-ups, can either be preserved for an authentic, worry-free driving experience or refinished for those seeking perfection.
The interior, still original, remains in excellent condition, free from tears or significant wear, as does the black soft top.
Weighing only 1,100 kg, this TR6 offers an engaging and spirited driving experience: its six-cylinder engine, with its distinctive raspy growl, is famed for its robustness while remaining economical to maintain.
A healthy, reliable example, ready to be enjoyed immediately — perfect for regular use or weekend drives!
Delivered fully serviced, with a 12-month warranty.
Available for viewing by appointment only at Sportwagen Paris, classic car specialist located in Paris' 15th arrondissement.
Trade-ins accepted. Financing available for up to 60 months.
