Deze Morgan plus 8 was in Nederland gekocht door een Engelse majoor. We hebben ook de brieven tussen de Majoor en Morgan Motor Company Limited. Deze Majoor was gestationeerd in Nederlands Limburg. Hij bestelde als Engelsman deze continentale links gestuurde Morgan Plus 8 uitzonderlijk met een Miles kilometerteller.
Dit is de zeer begeerde plus 8 versie met de 3,5 liter Rover motor die in V8 licht metaal gemaakt Is en 161 pk levert en daardoor gaat deze 900 kg wegende wagen van 0 naar 100 in slechts 6,7 seconden Zeer merkwaardig ook is het uiterst aangenaam rijden van deze krachtige wagen gecombineerd met een zeer matig verbruik van 9 liter per 100 km zelfs bij intens gebruik ( door huidig eigenaar in 2023) van 1000km in de Belgische Ardennen. De sound van de wagen is zeer mooi.
De wagen heeft €80.000 Miles gereden en is motorisch en technisch in zeer goede staat Opties die erbij aanwezig zijn; een lederen koffer, twee Lucas mistlampen, Side screens twee spiegels, kofferrek, houten dashboard, stuur Lita en een beige lederen bekleding.
