Wir präsentieren den Ferrari Mondial 3,4T Valeo Coupé - Ferrari produzierte eine limitierte Serie von Fahrzeugen, bekannt als die 'Valeo' Mondials. Valeo, ein französischer Kupplungshersteller, entwickelte ein revolutionäres System, das auf einen Kupplungspedal verzichtete. Stattdessen übernahm ein elektromechanischer Aktuator (ECM) nahtlos die Kupplungssteuerung und erreichte ein Ein- und Auskuppeln in gerade einmal 0,02 Sekunden! Ursprünglich für das Lancia Rallye-Team konzipiert, ermöglichte dieses innovative Kupplungssystem den Fahrern, stets einen Fuß auf der Bremse und den anderen auf dem Gas zu halten und trug maßgeblich zu den aufeinanderfolgenden Weltmeisterschaften von Lancia bei.
Der ECM funktionierte ähnlich wie ein manuelles Getriebe: Gas wegnehmen, den Schalthebel manuell bewegen, wieder beschleunigen, und die Kupplungssteuerung erfolgte nahtlos ohne jegliche Fußbewegung. Wenn Sie in den Fußraum schauen und kein Kupplungspedal sehen, handelt es sich um ein 'Valeo'-Auto.

Valeo, a French clutch manufacturer, developed a revolutionary system that eliminated the need for a clutch pedal. Instead, an electro-mechanical actuator (ECM) seamlessly managed the clutch operation, achieving engagement and disengagement in just 0.02 seconds! Originally designed for the Lancia rally team, this innovative clutch system allowed drivers to keep one foot on the brake and the other on the gas, significantly contributing to Lancia's consecutive world championships.
The ECM functioned similarly to a manual transmission: ease off the gas, manually move the gear shift lever, resume acceleration, and the clutch operation occurred seamlessly without any foot movement. If you look into the footwell and see no clutch pedal, it's a 'Valeo' car.
