Es realmente especial, casi de concurso, restaurado correctamente hace más de veinte años, en Inglaterra, siempre mantenido en la oscuridad, es un ejemplo fantástico, uno de los mejores

British Racing Green, con overdrive , Minilites de 15” ‘centre lock’ y neumáticos de Michelin XAS 165 x 15” con menos de 500 kilómetros, asientos de cuero con reposacabezas, gris, ribeteado en negro, elevalunas eléctricos, ventilador Kenlowe. Tiene un motor de 1950, abre de llevas, especial, carburadores SUs HS6, colector tubular y escape deportivo de acero inoxidable, va muy bien para un B.

La conversión de parachoques está perfecta, ya que se ha realizado correctamente con el salpicadero y las luces traseras de la primera serie. Con muelles delanteros de un modelo MGB GT y un kit para reducir la altura en la parte trasera, la altura ahora es perfecta. Volante de cuero Motolita, batería de 12 volts como los autos posteriores y interruptor de seguridad. Maletero alfombrado.

Como puede ver en las fotografías, no solo se ve fantástico, sino que la parte inferior está realmente limpia y ordenada, todavía tiene buena pintura inferior a la vista.

Capota, luna trasera con cremallera y capota plana que facilita los reposacabezas.

Todavía está registrado en el Reino Unido.

Very nearly concours, properly converted over twenty years ago but kept in the dark and warm for most of that time under my house, it is a fantastic example, really one of the best.

British racing green, overdrive (3rd and top), new centre lock 15” Minilites and Michelin XAS tyres (165 x 15") with less than 500 kilometres, leather seats with headrests, grey, piped in black, electric windows, Kenlowe fan. The car has a 1950 engine, half race cam, twin HS6 carbs, tubular manifold and sports stainless exhaust, it goes really well for a B.

The conversion from rubber bumbers is unusual, in that it has been done properly with very early dashboard, console, gear knob and early rear lights. With GT front springs and a lowering kit at the rear, the ride height is perfect, These later cars with front and rear anti bars work quite well. You get the sense you are in an early car with more comfortable seats and a better ride and handling. Motolita leather wheel, 12 volt battery as per the later cars and a security switch. Carpeted boot.

The underneath is really clean and tidy, good paint still there and no underseal anywhere, hood with zip out rear window and tonneau cover which faciliates the head rests. Even the hood frame has been painted grey as per the earlier models (I am sure this will confuse prospective owners in the years to come!!)

I have driven a lot of Bs in my time and owned a few too, it really is a cracker. It has probably done less than four thousand miles since the rebuild.

It is still UK registered at my old address I can get it shipped to a UK address at a very good price and without problems, delivered to your door. The transport company is in Spain every five to six weeks. There will be nothing more for you to pay. I have used their services on a number of occasions, it all works well now.

I would advise you to come and see it. You can fly to Reus or Barcelona and I will pick you up and take you back to either.

Very sad sale, really hard to let go, but I don’t use it and it would be great to let someone else have the benefit of it. Very proud to have owned it and to have been responsable for the rebuild which was done by Classic Coachbuilders to my very detailed specification with a bit of help from my son.

I think it is worth every penny, of course there are cheaper ones available but I don’t think you will find one as good as this anywhere.
