Vehicle Description
Actual first hand Youngtimer - Mazda 626 Coupé 2L GC-engine !
My first car, bought new in 1986 and regularly driven until 10/22 (expiration MOT). Previous MOT passed in 2020 with no defaults.
All original on this car, including the paint.
Overall condition is good, interior is in pristine condition.
But since '22, for this model typical rust has advanced and there is a bit of work to be done: left underbody needs replacement, right hand may be repaired, rear wheel arches and area around the filler neck need sand-blasting or similar.
The 2L GC engine runs well, needs 8.5L (100km/mix). Though radiator should be replaced or overhauled.
Odometer is accurate. Many maintenance/spare part bills available.
In summary: rare - first hand - 626 Coupé with famous GC-engine, all original.
Low price is explained by works to be done - ideally for a true fan and DIY-enthusiast.
