Vehicle Description
Experience the 1950s in this beautiful Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupe! This Bel Air has been thoroughly restored and is in fantastic condition!
We are offering this stunning Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupe on behalf of the family of a late friend of mine. This car was a personal project of his and was restored with great care and dedication. It is being sold in respect of his legacy, and therefore is not part of our business, Oldtimers Garage. For this reason, no guarantees or services are offered through the business.
Engine and Transmission: The V8 engine starts quickly even when cold and runs very smoothly. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. The engine bay is very clean and many components have been replaced. Invoices are available (2021). New radiator, new engine mounts, spark plugs, cables, etc. The original air conditioning is still present, but not installed.
Interior and Dashboard: The interior is in excellent condition and has been completely restored to its original state. The dashboard is also in remarkable condition and is fully complete.
Chassis, Suspension, and Rubbers: The chassis is solid, without any dents, and is rust-free. The wheel arches, floor, sills, etc., are in very good and rust-free condition. The suspension has been completely renewed, and no expense was spared. All rubbers have been replaced. Power steering has also been installed, all parts are new.
Lighting and Electrical: All lighting works perfectly, including interior and dashboard lights. The electrical system is in excellent condition.
Paint and Chrome: The Bel Air was fully resprayed years ago in its original two-tone colors, which is not the typical “American” style, and the paint is still in great condition, although with some light craquelure and minor signs of use.
The chrome work is also in excellent condition, with both the front and rear bumpers being new, and all other chrome parts re-chromed.
Braking System and Tires: The car is fitted with four attractive tires, and all brake components have been replaced.
