Vehicle Description
PROPERTY HISTORY.
The vehicle left the factory in July 1981, and went to Italy, under the ownership of the Jolly Club, in charge of the Lancia rally competition team, with cars as iconic as the Lancia 037, the Lancia Delta S4, and the Lancia Delta Integrale. Until 2003 it was under that ownership, therefore 22 years.
He went to Germany, and was there for about a year.
It later traveled to Spain where it was acquired by an Audi manager, who owned it for less than two years.
And the fourth and last owner is me, who acquired it in 2006, and it remains with me to this day, so 18 years.
I have all the documentation that certifies what was previously written, both Italian, German, and Spanish documentation.
VEHICLE CONDITION.
For those who are interested in the car, you can request a dossier about it in PDF format, which explains its entire life and is accompanied by all the documents that I have about it.
When I acquired the car in 2006 it was in very good condition, but under my ownership a lot of money has been invested in it, to not only mitigate the passage of age but also to improve it wherever possible, and always under the premise of keeping it original at 100x100.
The car has always been active, and I have driven it regularly, and time and money have been invested in ensuring its condition was always operational and optimal, therefore it is not a restoration, it is simply a car that has enjoyed the roads.
There are dozens of invoices over the last 18 years, which I have available to those interested.
Mechanics.
Almost all of his life with me he has been kept by the best classic Audi specialist, who in turn is a classic rally driver where he participates with an S-1, which can be seen in some photographs.
The condition is excellent, the car can be driven as if it were "stolen", you can push it on mountain stretches and feel like Hannu Mikkola, or go on the highway at high cruises.
I can't write everything that has been done to the car that is available to those interested, because it is very extensive, but I will write down how I left the car.
In November 2023, the entire suspension was reviewed, changing the shock absorbers, cups, etc. The front and rear brake pads were changed, as well as the front brake discs, all the filters were changed as well as the engine and groupset oils and greases, the cooling circuit was cleaned, and the coolant was changed, etc.
In November 2022, the timing belt was changed as well as all the belts and the water pump.
In March 2021, the clutch cylinder, air filter, fuel filter, engine blocks, spark plugs, crankcase gasket, new exhaust system were changed, with the possibility of opting for a normal exhaust, or a sports one just by changing one part of the system in a very quick and easy way.
I will not continue due to lack of space, but those interested can request the dossier and check all the work, supported by photos and invoices.
Inside.
As you can see in the photographs, its condition is excellent, and I have barely had to do any work.
It should be noted that the car is equipped with air conditioning, originally it was not equipped, but in its Italian era a contemporary one from the Diavia brand was installed, which was in its day tuned and is perfectly operational. I also added a water temperature clock myself to the panel under the steering wheel, I also provided an original panel in case anyone wants to remove the clock.
The radio is the original and little else can be added that cannot be seen in the photographs.
Exterior.
The car has never been in an accident under my ownership and more than likely never has been.
The paint is the original, however a few years ago I polished it completely, you can see it in the photographs.
The car has some small "pits" on the bodywork due to its age, but nothing major for a 43-year-old car.
It retains almost all the factory stickers, they are not purchased now.
The Fuchs wheels are perfect and have never been restored.
All glass is original from the factory.
As a curiosity, the car was part of the Audi Q8 promotion in Spain, photos are attached in the dossier.
In short, it has been 18 fantastic years with him, but now we have to look for new hopes and find a new owner who loves him and enjoys him as I have done.
The car can be tested, and undergo an inspection by the buyer, no problem.
I live 20 minutes from Madrid airport and it would be a pleasure to pick up clients from outside my country.
The sale is private, but for international clients it can be done through an official dealer.
